Finding the time for Creativity

As he said, it's all part of the creative process. I reminded myself that I should do it more often.
Allowing ourselves time for creativity (whatever it is) is just so important (I talk about it alot over at
So in this post a few details from our bedroom which is forever changing much like our house that changes all the time. One day we might actually finish it but then maybe we will find something else to change - our house is a constant living piece of artwork that ebbs and flows with our mood and seasons.
I was reminded once again by some visitors last week what we have managed to achieve and create ourselves. Our house has definitely been a labour of love and with our own pair of hands.
For those of you who have not followed me on Instagram we pretty much built our own home and mostly during the pandemic. The roof, mezzanine, walls, insulation, floors, bathrooms and kitchens. It’s something we have never done before and although its not quite finished it has been evolving over time - putting time and money into when we can. A proper ‘Foraged Home’ like my book.
Should you find yourself here in Provence our studio is open for private visits so why not come and see us?
